Attachments: the progress of file operations is hard to see with the broken popup

Description Alex 2010-07-08 19:25:57 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

At the moment kscreenshot increases the number at the end of the filename each time you make a new snapshot (and save it).
It would be cool to have a filename-pattern where some variables are expanded as current time (strftime like) or maybe even the output of a user supplied program.

then saving could even skip the save-dialog. the user would choose a target-directory and a filename-pattern, make the screenshot, click save, make another screenshot, click again ...

Reproducible: Always

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
