Feel free to reopen the report if the problem still happens in recent versions ( KDE SC 4.8.4 or higher). Thanks. |
Created attachment 48576 [details] last 120 lines of the .xsession-errors file Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4) OS: Linux KDE dies occasionally. Usually when I'm not at my laptop. And the only message as to why its gone is found in ~/.xsession-errors, which is: kdeinit4: Fatal IO error: client killed And its the first error message I can see related. There are no errors in dmesg, and no other hints to why KDE might have crashed. I've attached a file containing the last 120 lines of the .xsession-errors file. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Its just something that happens occasionally, usually when I'm not even doing anything.
