Description Diederik van der Boor 2010-06-30 06:50:57 UTC
Version: 4.4 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: MS Windows

The installation of KDE on Windows is severely broken.
Essential packages are missing, making it impossible to start applications, or compile software.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Get the KDE Installer
- Select winkde.org/.../stable-latest
- Install Kate
- Install devel package for kdelibs

Actual Results:
- Kate won't start because dbus is missing from the 4.4.4 packages.
- oxygen-icons is also missing
- automoc is missing
- enchant can't be found by cmake.

I've installed dbus by selecting it from the unstable packages. Afterwards I found out about oxygen-icons and automoc/enchant.
