Vertical toolbar

Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

Hi,

I have a vertical bookmark toolbar, and since KDE SC 4.5 (currently RC1) the folders are aligned to the center of the toolbar (see screenshot). In KDE SC ≤ 4.4 the folders were aligned to the left of the toolbar.
Is-it a bug or an intentional change ? Can I go back to the left-alignment ?
Thank you.

KDE SC RC1 (4.4.90)
Kubuntu 10.04

Reproducible: Always

please assign to the proper product (konqueror, dolphin, whatever this is ;-)
Comment 2 Florent C. 2010-06-29 21:54:33 UTC
Oops sorry.
Konqueror and rekonq.

The regression you see is actually a bug fix, see bug 165274 (and duplicates).
Comment 4 Florent C. 2010-06-29 22:40:02 UTC
I'm not sure. In theses bugs, all items are not aligned. Here they are aligned, but not in the good place (I think).

Try adding non-folder bookmarks to the list and you will see the bug in KDE 4.4. Folders are left-aligned, while everything else is centered (as it has always been the case for Qt toolbars, except for QWidgetActions, as noted in the bug report).

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
