No it won't happen because this is too dangerous (has been discussed=20 before several times). There's not problem with sending mail to the trash. The problem is that it still shows up as (1) unread mail in there.
This is mostly a psychological problem I admit but neithertheless.
What about creating a 'Set Mail Status to Read' filter?
Hmm and I just checked Netscape Mail and they are not afraid to offer
a 'Delete' option ;)
