ctrl+r doesn't delete anything, it marks articles as _r_ead. Which might seem like deletion to you if you set the quick filter dropdown to "Unread". > ctrl+r doesn't delete anything, it marks articles as _r_ead. Which might seem > like deletion to you if you set the quick filter dropdown to "Unread". My configuration was set to delete read posts. So CTRL-R would not only mark all posts as read but also delete them. Usually read posts are deleted later, once I switch to a different feed. That's not the case with CTRL-R though. It deletes all posts immediately. And once they are deleted I don't know of any way to undelete them. Or is there a way. As shown the effect of CTRL-R here is effectively to delete all posts. Which is not intended. So I guess the effects of CRTL-R could be dampened somehow if CTRL-R would delete all the posts *immediately* so one would have a chance to mark the unread again. See also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=194211 Please consider reopening this bug in light of those aspects. *t Which option exactly are you talking about? I am not aware of any option deleting read posts. The "do not delete important articles" option only affects items marked as important but does not consider their read/unread state. I wasn't aware of the quickfilter, however I can not verify this any more since I don't have akregator with the old settings available any more. However CRTL-R for mark as read is still overlapping the "well know" CTRL-R "Reload" key combination. Thanks, *t |
