Version: 4.4.2 (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux I disable some Modules (e-Mail, News, Notes, Journals). After restarting Kontact, I tried to open the Preferences ("Kontact einrichten...") and Kontact crashes. If I disable a Module but not restart Koncact, the Preferences work probably. I think /home/user/.kde/share/config/kontactrc is corrupted after disabling the modules and closing Kontact. When I delete kontactrc and restart Kontact, the File is recreated and I can open the Preferances. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: start Kontact disable at least one Module close Kontact restart Kontact try to open the Kontact Preferences delete /home/user/.kde/share/config/kontactrc restart Kontact Actual Results: Kontact works but I can't disable Modules. Expected Results: It should be possible to disable Modules and use the Preferences. This is a fresh Installation of Kubuntu 10.04 I didn't change a lot jet.
