Sentry Crash Report:

Description Sylvain Paré 2010-06-23 22:27:51 UTC
Version: 0.9.6 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

Instead of having a "plus/more" button at the end of each page of the content of klipper's history it could be very more usable to have all klipper's history in a croll area. Because if your are like me and abuse of klipper and configure it to have a 200 entires long history then you should, nearly at each time you use it, have an issue for finding your entry if it is not in the first page. Because if it is not in the first page you have to go over the "plus/more" entry and pass trought nearly all history's page because the next page come nearly exactly as same position as the current one so the "plus/more" entry is again at the same place and being used again and again.

Reproducible: Sometimes

It's a cool idea, but given the lack of movement for so long, I think this is unlikely to be implemented unless someone submits a merge request to do it. Accordingly, I'm going to close this request so that the list of requested features better reflects work in progress or under active consideration. This doesn't mean that the idea is being vetoed, just that there aren't resources to consider implementing it absent volunteer contributions to do so--for which no formal feature request is needed. Thanks for understanding!

For now, I'm only using this Klipper floating popup triggered via shortcut because the search in the main applet is totally broken Bug 448833 which makes the applet not usable at all in 5.27.4, while the search in floating popup is working perfectly.
