I am no longer convinced it's IMAP that's causing the problem. All I know is that after closing KMail in the VNC session and shutting down the VNC server, when I come back to the local console and try to send an email after launching KMail from the local console, about 99% of the time, it hangs until I kill KMail, Akonadi and all POP/IMAP sessions. Once I have done that and restarted KMail all is well until the next day when I log into the local console after a VNC session. This is no crash Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
