When I log out of plasma, I lose all changes (adding widgets, changing wallpaper) etc. to the desktop the next time I log in.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Log in, change wallpaper to slide-show, add a notes widget to the desktop, log out , and log in again

Actual Results:  
The desktop is returned to its default state

Expected Results:  
The desktop retains the changes I made

Upgraded from KDE 4.4 using the kubuntu beta ppa repository.
