Description Federico Sotto 2010-06-14 17:24:13 UTC
Version: 2.0 (KDE4) (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

The crash reporting tool does not work behind a proxy. I am not able to log in, nor to report the crash.

It seems it is not being able to resolve bugs.kde.org behind a proxy.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Assuming you are behind a proxy,
Replicate a crash you know how to replicate.
Follow the wizzard.

Are you able to login to https://bugs.kde.org by using konqueror? Both konqueror and drkonqi use the same backend (kio_http), so the problem should be there. Also, make sure your proxy settings are correct in systemsettings->network settings->proxy. Thanks.

mmm.... strange, konqueror seems to be working fine with the proxy
settings, howerver, it does not allow me to log me in to bugs.kde.org
(I didn't saw that before because I don't really use konqueror for web
browsing). The error message seems to be the same than in the error
reporting tool, so perhaps the bug is in kio library.

I think you will find useful the screenshots I attached, sorry about
being in spanish, but I think you will be able to see the problem
anyway. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Hm, I guess you attached the images on the email? I didn't receive them. Please use the web interface to attach the images. The email interface in bugzilla doesn't work as you expect it. Thanks.

Do you still have this probelm ? Proxy support for HTTPS was implemented a long while back, but it just does not work properly right now.

See https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155707
