Description Parameshwara Bhat 2010-06-12 09:17:00 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

I do not know if the above description is technically accurate. What happens is this. If one opens a terminal panel and takes an action on a removable device, and then closes the terminal panel, the device cannot be ejected or safe-removed as the process for terminal-panel is still open.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a terminal panel in Dolphin
2.'cd' to the removable drive mountpoint
3.Now close the terminal panel
4.Try to safe-remove or eject

Actual Results:
As described above

Expected Results:
As described above

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc

This also appears to be a Konsole problem, but at this time, I cannot confirm.
