Description usedonlytosignup 2010-06-11 02:47:55 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.3.5)
OS: Linux

The box where you choose new hotkeys overlaps the next action which may be configured. As far as I can tell there is no way to close this box after setting the hot key except clicking another action that the box does not cover.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Watch the attached avi

Actual Results:
Watch the attached avi

Expected Results:
Once I have changed the hot key I should have an accept button (maybe a tick?) to confirm the change and get rid of the configuration pop-up so I can configure the hotkey for the next action.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.12-0.2-default
Compiler: gcc

That is not a popup, but an expander. To get rid of it, click the arrow, or anywhere else on the line.

Thanks, that is correct and useful. It is not an intuitive UI though, a little "link (look like web browser hyperlink" that says "(close)" which when you hover over it pops up information telling you that you can also close the expander by clicking anywhere in the same pane outside of the expander would be a good feature addition.

A real designer should design the popup which appears when you hover over the close after a brief (maybe 0.5 second period) so it isn't annoying.
