In the original bug description I was missing a filter on the language of the EPG text. Another solution would be to present each language version in their own entries (rows) in the EPG list and add a column for the language, and then sort the EPG rows by the language column. Would that be easier to implement? Still exists in Kaffeie 1.2.2.. As for Kaffeine 1.2.2, also text in OSD may be in wrong language. And on EGP, sometimes there may be two rows for the same program, one in Swedish and one in Finnish, sometimes there is only one row for the program by other language that may be undesired. EGP language should be selectable in Configure Television dialog. User's selection should be respected in OSD and EGP, when possible. This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc. You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open. |
