When you go to system settings -> Desktop Effects -> all effects and search for "til" the application freezes for a while, while you type "ti" everythings fine, but as soon as you enter the "l" it freezes for a moment, since you dont see the "l" showing up, I entered more l's which made the app freeze longer and me end up with "tillllllllll" when I went and removed the unneccary l's the app froze again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Go to System Settings -> Desktop Effects -> All Effects and search for "til".

Actual Results:  
Application freezes for a while.

Expected Results:  
Should search smoothly for "til".

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-22-generic
