My Operationl System is Kubuntu Lucid Lynx LTS. Hej, can you update to a more recent version of KDE (e.g. 4.4.4) please? This will contain a button in the message dialog where you can get a log with information what exactly is going wrong. Please attach this log to this report, otherwise we are not able to help you solving this problem.
