Description Leonardo La Malfa 2010-06-04 18:34:31 UTC
Version: 2.2 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

Sorry I had to choose v. 4.4.3 for KDE version in the field above doesn't show 4.4.4, which is the current version I'm using. Basically, KWord is a great application, but it often crashes nonetheless. When that happens, I end up losing what I have been working on, which is not good. It would be great if an auto-save feature be added to the settings. Oh, and by the way, why is there no general settings? I couldn't find it anywhere. Anyway, KOffice has a great potential, so I hope to see it growing up really fast! Thanks for everything.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open up a document, trigger a crash and see all the changes applied (but not saved) gone.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic
Compiler: cc

Thank you for your bug report or feature suggestion.

The "KOffice" application suite is no longer maintained, and all tickets are now closed.

We recommend to switch to the "Calligra" application suite, which has replacements for all unmaintained KOffice applications:

- KWord was replaced with Calligra Words
- KPlato was replaced with Calligra Plan

For more information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calligra_Suite
