- tried to change address of folder manually by double-clicking on the folder location, and typing folder address into the address bar

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

Thanks for the bug report! This is probably related to other reports about Nepomuk-related crashes. The crash can probably be worked around by disabling Nepomuk in the System Settings.
