I can't reproduce this here in current git. Could you please install Amarok 2.3.1 and try again? This problem doesn't exist in Amarok 2.3.1 anymore. Thx. I mark it as resolved. Created attachment 49121 [details]
New crash information added by DrKonqi
Put in my user/pass for Last.FM and upon clicking [ok], amarok crashed. I was changing my password so I don't know if that was related or not.
Jeffery, please open another bug, this is not the same as the backtraces are completely different. Please also make sure to paste the backtrace inline to make it searchable. > Jeffery, please open another bug, Will do, now at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244520 > this is not the same as the backtraces are completely different. Maybe the bug reporter needs to compare better, since I have no idea what I am looking at with these. >Please also make sure to paste the backtrace inline to make it searchable. Why doesn't the bug reporter do that either? :( (In reply to comment #5) > > Jeffery, please open another bug, > Will do, now at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244520 > > > this is not the same as the backtraces are completely different. > Maybe the bug reporter needs to compare better, since I have no idea what I am > looking at with these. Check for the Thread that starts with KCrashHandler. Newer versions of Dr. Konqi do filter this much better, you are using KDE 4.4.2 which still has an onder version. > > >Please also make sure to paste the backtrace inline to make it searchable. > Why doesn't the bug reporter do that either? :( It does, for the original reporter. The newer versions paste an excerpt with the crash handler when a backtrace is generated to be added to an existing report. You might consider an upgrade to KDE SC 4.4.4, see also http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.4.4 I am on 4.4.4, but this isn't the place to discuss such things so we can leave it be. Thanks for your assistance. |
