Everyday some of my friends tell me why I type "<p>" after my sentences. But I don't. There must be some bug that sends "<p>" as normal text to the chat clients out there. Also  people in facebook tell me this behavior when I chat with them over kopete and facebook jabber. I have richtext disabled.

Workaround is disabling the OTR plugin. It may be fixed in 4.4.4 already, but I haven't checked.
