Because your Messages.sh files are wrong and/or unexistent?

e.g expoblending one says
$XGETTEXT *.cpp -o $podir/kipiplugin_expoblending.pot
which means all the .cpp files in the subdirectories are not processed, i imagine the same happens in the other cases
