SOFTWARE VERSION:
  Kubuntu 9.10
  Koffice (svn version 1122560)
  Test document (MS PowerPoint 2007): mp07_two_columns_text.pptx

STEPS LEADING TO THE PROBLEM:
  1. Open the attached document in MSOffice.
  2. Open the same document in KOffice.
  3. Observe the text in columns.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
  Kpresenter should be able to retain the text in columns.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
  Kpresenter is unable to retain the text in columns.

  Always

As far as I can see this is a can't fix bug: columns in text boxes in slides aren't supported by ODF.
