SOFTWARE VERSION:
  Kubuntu 9.04
  Koffice (svn version 1103504)
  Test document (OpenOffice 3.0): oow_diff_pic.odt

STEPS LEADING TO THE PROBLEM:
  1. Open the attached document in OpenOffice.
  2. Open the same document in KOffice.
  3. Observe pictures in the document.


EXPECTED OUTCOME:
  Kword should be able to display all pictures in the document clearly.
  as seen in attachment oow_pic_disp_openoffice.png

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
  Kword does not display pictures in the document clearly.
  Some pictures overlap each other and some are missing.

Change severity from major to normal, since we usually use only crash, normal and wish.

If you load the attached document into KWord then the 3th image at the 1th page is displayed at the wrong position. The reason for this is that the paragraph it anchors to does not have any text. If you place the cursor at the end of the sentence "Next there will be picture with left align clicked, a return before and a return after." and then press the cursor-down arrow and add some text then the 3th image will magically be repositioned to the correct position.

Thank you for your bug report or feature suggestion.

The "KOffice" application suite is no longer maintained, and all tickets are now closed.

We recommend to switch to the "Calligra" application suite, which has replacements for all unmaintained KOffice applications:

- KWord was replaced with Calligra Words
- KPlato was replaced with Calligra Plan
