Description Halla Rempt 2010-05-31 10:25:40 UTC
Convert from critical to normal to conform to bko usage.
Comment 1 Inge Wallin 2010-12-03 10:53:45 UTC
This is the filter taking forever.
Comment 2 bjoern.breitmeyer 2010-12-17 09:29:10 UTC
Confirmed its caused by a temporary overuse of memory.
Comment 3 bjoern.breitmeyer 2010-12-17 09:29:50 UTC
Fixed the memory leak and made several optimizations to the cells memory usage.
Works a lot better now.
Comment 4 swathi 2011-01-11 14:34:40 UTC
Still Application hangs while trying to open the document.
Comment 5 bjoern.breitmeyer 2011-01-11 14:56:37 UTC
Thats not true, the application takes about 3:30 to open on my computer. I have no time to compare it to msexcel at the moment, but as far as i remember it took about the same time to open the document, and even if its faster it would only be possible to get faster if we load ms documents without the odf intermediate step.
But the temporary memory leak, that caused the application to crash or run for 30 minutes is resolved.
Comment 6 bjoern.breitmeyer 2011-01-11 14:57:01 UTC
At least in Caligra.
Comment 7 swathi 2011-09-05 14:05:49 UTC
Tables is not hanging in 67247f988faad9a58b915f0c49eca54561f87c9a.
8MB file in MS Excel took 30 seconds to open.
Where as Calligra Tables took 10 minutes to open it.
Still there is a need for improvement.
So reopening.
