it works here. Please do not report bugs with rekonq against Qt 4.7 or KDE SC 4.5. rekonq 0.5 will be targeted to Qt 4.6 & KDE SC 4.4. Regards. *** Bug 245027 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 245050 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 245789 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** adjusting summary per comment #1 "Please do not report bugs with rekonq against Qt 4.7 or KDE SC 4.5. rekonq 0.5 will be targeted to Qt 4.6 & KDE SC 4.4." We had been hoping to use Rekonq as the default browser for Kubuntu Maverick, but since that has Qt 4.7 and KDE 4.5, that's clearly not going to work. rekonq 1.0 will be targeted for Qt 4.7 and KDE 4.5 SC. And that's so exactly because of these strange bugs/crashes. New crash information added by DrKonqi
rekonq (0.5.0) on KDE Platform 4.4.92 (KDE 4.4.92 (KDE 4.5 RC2)) using Qt 4.7.0
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was just trying to close one browser window when it crashed. There were multiple windows open prior to the crash.

crash-info (KDE 4.4.2/Qt 4.6.2) rekonq 0.5.0 crashed when closing tabs
Application: rekonq (0.5.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-24-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
I opened all tabs of two different (bookmark)-folders by using their context menu in the bookmarks-menu. Then I closed several tabs and rekonq crashed.
I tried hard to reproduce this crash, but I didn't manage it yet.
I can no more reproduce this :D everything compiled yesterday: - Qt from git, 4.7 branch - KDE from svn, 4.5 branch - rekonq from git, master branch What about you? Since updating to KDE 4.5.0 final this morning I've not had any crashes in rekonq 0.5. :D any update? Can we close this? I still have some occasional crashes, but I am not aware if these are related (e.g. forgot to check backtraces). I'd say leave it open for now. Rekonq 0.6beta + SC 4.5 + Qt 4.7git. No crashes on closing tabs here. I think this has been fixed, while the "occasional crashes" Sascha is experiencing are related to bug 248880. Closing. |
