Version:           1.2.0 (using KDE 4.4.2) 
OS:                Linux

If I save images in the jpeg2000 format, they will always have the same filesize and quality, no matter which quality option I gave.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
edit&save as jpeg200 with different quality options

Actual Results:  
always the same filesize& quality

Expected Results:  
different filesize & quality

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-22-generic

Not reproducible. Please try again with last stable 1.9.0

This file still valid using digiKam 2.4 ?

And with digiKam 4.6.0, the problem still here ?

With digiKam 4.6.0 it is fixed.
It seems there is a new checkbox to toggle lossless encoding, if my memory
serves me right.
