Description H.H. 2010-05-24 13:36:08 UTC
Version: 1.13.3 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

Since its newest version, kmail always opens a context-menu somewhere on the bottom of the screen (not where the cursor is, which is, where my eyes look, when I want to paste text at a selected place, but where the mouse pointer is) and asks if I want to paste the text as attachment or inline.

But I (and I think most else people when pasting text) simply want to paste the text inline and not as attachent in 99% of the time. so please(!) let me be able to disable this annoying selection, and perhaps let me choose a default value.

I have looked for an option, to disable this, but have not found one.

Reproducible: Didn't try

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop
Compiler: gcc

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
