Version:           2.4.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic-pae

I removed all of the KGet notifications so that it doesn't notify about any action. However, it seems that whatever action I set it to notify about, it only notifies about when an individual file has finished downloading, and then only sporadically.

Perhaps this is a problem with the settings from older versions, but I tried deleting the ~/.kde/share/apps/kget directory but it made no difference.
