Description Ian Evans 2010-05-19 06:01:33 UTC
Version: 2.4.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), 4.4.2-2.fc12 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64

When using konsole, there is a gap of varying size on the left side of the cursor that is visible when navigating through text. it happens at the shell prompt, and in emacs -nw. this does not happen in any other terminal emulators or virtual consoles, as far as i know it's exclusive to konsole. Changing font size/zoom in the profile seems to change the size of the gap (with smaller fonts having larger gaps.) Never had this problem in Kubuntu but it seems to happen out of the box on Fedora 12 KDE.

It is not easy to know, from your description, what the real problem is .

Could you attach a screenshot or provide clear steps to reproduce it, if this is still a issue in recent version?
