What I was doing when the application crashed:
If I have chrome (5.0.375.29 beta) open and kconsole open and then I try to drag a kconsole tab from one kconsole window to another I cause both chrome and kconsole to crash if I move my mouse past the open chrome window

Note that dragging a chrome tab past konsole does not cause either application to crash, but dragging a konsole tab past chrome causes *both* applications to crash.

Here's the issue I opened against chrome for this:

I see that a recent chrome version fixed it crashing.  Does Konsole still crash?

No. The recent version of chrome does not crash and therefore neither 
does konsole.
