I have directories with 3000+ images. Dolphin fails to show the whole file-entries. Instead it shows only a random selection of them. I can still list them via CLI.

When i try to open an image, which is not shown by Dolphin, via CLI like this:

gwenview /path/to/large/imagefolder/xyz.jpg

i can open it directly.

Thanks for the report. What do you mean with "not shown": That only the preview of the image is not shown, or that there is even no file icon at all?

There are no file icons at all. This bug is a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=237713.
