Version: (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I can't connect to gtalk using my email address that isn't a xxxxx@gmail.com. I've tried to connect through pidgin and it is works and I can to chat...but kopete doesn't works... I simply can't establish the connection and my account results "connecting" for a while. After some minutes become "offline" and then kopete retry to reconnect, without success...and so on...
I've used:
- ssl (port 5223)
- server: gmail.com amd talk.google.com (pidgin doesn't connect with the second one)
- user: my.name@mydomain.tld

Kopete has updated libiris library for jabber support. Kopete has fixed autodetection for gmail server and can connect to gmail jabber server without need to modifing account settings. Closing as fixed.
