Description Janet 2010-05-15 19:17:28 UTC
Version: 4.4.3 (using 4.4.3 (KDE 4.4.3), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.33-4.slh.1-sidux-686

I often use the addressbook itself to look for contacts to write to because it is more clear and gives a better overview than the kmail dialog to choose a contact. Though I can copy an email address from the addressbook I really miss the option to just write a mail directly to this contact when I look at it. It would ease the workflow if the contacts, the distribution lists and the subfolders would have an entry in the RMB context menu to write an email to this contact/group of contacts/category of contacts.

I know if it is a single contact I can click on the email address in the right pane, but that's no solution for a distribution list or a subfolder with more than one email address.

In kaddressbook 15.12.3 you can do this for contacts and groups, even when multiple are selected.

Well that I guess we can consider this as solved.
