Description Oded Arbel 2010-05-15 17:09:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

I want to pair my headset with KDE so I can hear audio input on the headset, but the Bluetooth Device Manager can't complete the pairing because my headset "does not have input capability".

I've searched the web and it seems that the Bluetooth Device Manager not pairing with almost anything other then bluetooth keyboards, is a common complaint - I think it would be best if the Bluetooth Device Manager would let people pair anything with it, or that it will be labeled very clearly which type of devices the Device Manager is supposed to be used with - maybe in the first step of the "Bluetooth Device Wizard" instead of the ambiguous text "This wizard will help you setup your Bluetooth devices".
