Sentry Crash Report:

Description stephan beal 2010-05-10 02:36:49 UTC
Version: 2.4.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic

After upgrading to Ubuntu 10.4 (current as of today, 20100510), kget ignores my notification settings. Specifically, all notifications are disabled (via the configuration dialog), but kget still (a) plays a sound and (b) creates a popup message notifying me (and everyone else who happens to see my screen) that the transmission is complete.

i have tried enabling/disabling the notifications to try to force a re-set of the settings, but that has had no effect.

i am using no specific plugins or "trickiness", just downloading over http(s).

i am using the Gnome desktop, in case that makes any difference (no gnome download managers are as easy to use and stable as kget, thus the mixture).

Hey!

This has been fixed in trunk, please update to KDE 4.5 once it's available...

Lukas
