"I only recognize this behavior on one of my Twinviews." which one? and does this imply that on the other screen it works perfectly? I was wrong. On bith screeens the folder view doesn't remember the size and position of the widget. Can't you reproduce? "Can't you reproduce?" no, i can't. otherwise i might try and fix it :) What can I do to help out? Those folder widgets are always placed at different positions here, I swear ;-) (In reply to comment #3) > "Can't you reproduce?" > > no, i can't. otherwise i might try and fix it :) Bug is also reported here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=232171 and here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kdebase/+bug/569877 Sounds weird, but since i totally removed every akonadi-configuration it works again. The folder views stay in their position. I reported my akonadi-bug in this bug report last week: 237222 (the only solution was to start with a fresh akonadi config. Do folderview and akonadi have any relation ship? I'm seeing this too. Me too, since KDE 4.2. When I reposition a folder view plasmoid and log out and in again, it usually has the same position as before I moved it. When I do this often enough, the position is eventually being remembered. This still happens with 4.5.3 (Gentoo Linux). I would very much like this to be fixed. Tell me if I can do anything to help track this down. Do you still experience this issue? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 232171 *** I have not seen this in quite a while now. |
