Version:           1.4 (using 4.4.3 (KDE 4.4.3), Debian packages)

The preview in the information sidebar and the tooltip for plain text files cannot display German umlauts. The text files are in UTF-8 and are displayed like they should when opened in kate etc.

Confirming this bug with KDE 4.4.3 in Debian sid.
