Downloading e-mails from yahoo and gmail pop accounts, the filter that announces the message headers preset random error messages reporting that the command "top" is not supported by the pop servers yahoo and gmail.


The error message is as follows:


Sorry, your POP3 server (Account: xxxxxxx) does not support the order TOP. 
You can not download the message headers before downloading long integers.

The error message is random and inaccurate. 
The e-mails can be downloaded after several attempts or restart of the application.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
