55% of CPU, for a long time and without doing ANY activity (i was just back from dinner). The overall feeling is that the code is not really optimized.

Can you check which kind of plugin is being active in the akonadi_kabc_resource in question?

E.g. whether it is working on a local file, etc.
Comment 2 Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2010-05-03 22:23:13 UTC
Mysql doesn't work due to missing tables, i only use normal files.
Comment 3 Kevin Krammer 2010-05-03 22:40:07 UTC
I am not sure how I should interpret this info.

In case you mean that the KABC resource is working on a local vcf file, try uing the vcard resource on this file instead.
Comment 4 Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2010-05-07 00:07:55 UTC
Disabling file monitoring is better.
In the configuration window i've noticed that every few seconds it does "checking changes on the file".. Not really an efficient way.

The KResource compatibility bridges don't exist anymore with KDE PIM 15.08.
