Hej, if you don't need the left pane, just collaps it by dragging the right border of the pane to the left side. Then this pane won't 'waste' any space for you... Ciao, Tobias But if i want it i can't have it small, because it's vertical. Hej, there is no point in having the pane displayed if you have only on address book configured, so no space is wasted. If you want to have more address books, it makes sense to show the pane, because then you can switch between the address books. So as the maintainer and main developer of this application I have decided that this pane will stay there as it is, and reopening this bug report again won't change anything... Ciao, Tobias You're refusing to see my point that _TWO_ addressbooks will force the user to waste most of the ⅓ of the screen for that list, when having it the old way would be a better usage of that space. Won't reopen this again. Hej, Also for two address books this is not really a wast of space, the alternative would be to put it below the middle pane where it would waste vertically space instead of horizontal, so I see no point in moving stuff around... Ciao, Tobias Maybe we could change this bugreport to be a wish for having some of the different panes in dockers of some sort, i.e. movable. By default it could be all three in one "row" but allow users to e.g. move the collection tree above or below the contact list. How about treeview? |
