Description James Dent 2010-05-02 07:22:33 UTC
Version: 1.6.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Arch Linux)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33-ARCH

I have an unreliable internet connection, which sometimes dies when I am reading my feeds in Akregator. When this happens, any images in the feed I attempt to read naturally fail to load.

However, if the connection comes back up in a couple of minutes and I go to read the feed again, these images are not re-fetched and remain unloaded -- to view them, I must open the article in a browser or restart Akregator.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

I can confirm that this bug is resolved as of akregator 5.3.0 (applications 16.08.2).
