Does that still happen with pulseaudio support enabled? No, it is not listed multiple times. The issue I have however now, is that upon pretty much every login, phonon asks me whether it should forget about certain devices, some of which are listed multiple times. They are on-board cards (one sitting on the graphics board for HDMI out, the other one on the mainboard), so there is no point in forgetting them. Going into the phonon list still lists them all however. Created attachment 77589 [details]

May be they are leftover devices from non-pulseaudio times - I dunno.
