I have uploaded example files to my web server: http://russellharrison.com/bugs/kipi-plugins/bug_235683-dngconverter_metadata/ russel, Please test with current implementation from svn, next kipi-plugins 1.3.0. Jens Muller has patched DNG converter with new DNG sdk from Adobe and added a lots of missing important metadata backport from private RAW to DNG. Gilles Caulier Russel, This file still valid using kipi-plugins 2.4 ? Gilles Caulier (In reply to comment #3) > Russel, > > This file still valid using kipi-plugins 2.4 ? > > Gilles Caulier Gilles, I'll give it a try this weekend to see. Hopefully its working now and I can actually move to a DNG work flow. :-) Russell Russel, what's news about this file ? Gilles Caulier (In reply to comment #5) > Russel, > > what's news about this file ? > > Gilles Caulier I finally got some time to take another look at this. The current version (2.9.0) of the DNG Converter is producing files that can't be used at all and are crashing both UFRaw and Darktable. I'm uploading my sample files here: http://russellharrison.com/bugs/kipi-plugins/bug_235683-dngconverter_metadata/digikam-2.9.0/ $ rpm -qa | grep 'digikam\|kipi' | sort digikam-2.9.0-3.fc18.x86_64 digikam-doc-2.9.0-3.fc18.noarch digikam-libs-2.9.0-3.fc18.x86_64 kipi-plugins-2.9.0-3.fc18.x86_64 kipi-plugins-doc-2.9.0-3.fc18.noarch kipi-plugins-libs-2.9.0-3.fc18.x86_64 libkipi-4.9.5-1.fc18.x86_64 Russel, This file still valid using last kipi-plugins 4.10.0 ? Gilles Caulier New Kipi-plugins 4.11.0 is available : https://www.digikam.org/node/740 Can you reproduce the problem with this release ? Gilles Caulier This problem is not reproducible with last 5.0.0 I close this file now. Re-open it if necessary. Gilles Caulier |
