In my work is installed a WPA profesional wireless network.

I tried to connect using my laptop with Kubuntu Lucid Release Candidate but it doesn't connect, it shows the configuration window in wirelless security, again and again.

I know the configuration is correct because it works without problem with Gnome. Moreover, using GNOME's network manager in KDE, it connects without problem. 

The configuration of the network is:

Security: WPA/WPA 2 Enterprise
Autentication: TTLS
Anonymous identity: anonymous@domain
CA Certificate: defined by the enterprise
Internal autentication: PAP
username: myname@domain
password: mypassword

I have the same problem on a run-of-the-mill WEP home system. (i.e. I don't know what the OP means by "WPA professional wireless".  Nonetheless, knm doesn't allow communication, but the ui reports that my wireless connection is active.  
Gnome nm-applet works perfectly, as does wicd.

I can confirm this bug on opensuse 11.2 with kde 4.4.3. I also tried with networkmanager plasmoid compiled from svn (revision 1129651) with the same results.

Is there a fix for this yet? The only work around I've found is to do:
  sudo apt-get remove network-manager-kde
  sudo apt-get autoremove
  sudo apt-get install wicd
