This looks like an out-of-memory error. Is it reproducible? Oh it is not as you wrote. ;) (In reply to comment #1) > This looks like an out-of-memory error. Is it reproducible? Interesting. It's possible, but I didn't run a lot of applications, nor were they very memory-intensive (Skype, Amarok, Firefox and Konqueror as far as I remember). Not enough to fill 4 GiB of RAM (except if an application had a memory leak or so, but I didn't notice another application crash). And I guess I would have noticed if the 4,5 or so GiB of swap would have been filled up. Can you try with digiKam 1.4.0 ? Gilles Caulier digiKam 1.6.0 is out: http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/550 Please update and check if this entry still valid. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier Could you reproduce anymore with a recent version? If not, there's not much we can do here. Crash occurs in KDE libs code, at a seemingly random place. We need feedback here... Gilles Caulier New digiKam 4.11.0 is available. https://www.digikam.org/node/740 Can you reproduce the problem with this release ? Gilles Caulier Sorry, the hardware and the setup do not exist any more. Anyway, the problem was not really reproducible even when I opened this bug report. So please close this bug if you want to - I assume the problem was fixed in the last five years. |
