Every time I try to send a message kmail hangs and is no longer responding to any input. The window remains moveable and is redrawn, but not responding to any input.

I have the exact same problem with Kmail 4.4.5 in Kubuntu 10.04 with most recent updates and kernel, both on x84 and 64bit OS versions!
