I tried re-organize my contacts: rename groups, create new groups, remove some etc. Then I moved my contacts around to new groups etc. After going offline and coming online, I had some duplicated groups, removed groups reappeared and contacts were organized incorrectly - some of them in old groups, some of them in new ones.

I tried closing Kopete too, but it had the same effect as going offline and coming online again.

I closed Kopete, used KMess to re-organize contacts and started Kopete again. Now the contacts were arranged as I left them in KMess.

WLM has been discontinued by Microsoft, thus I am closing this bug.
