Description Sabine Faure 2010-04-22 22:48:03 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch KOrg
- Go to Settings menu and check Show Statusbar if not checked by default
- A status bar appears at the bottom of KOrg main window.
- Go to the File menu/New
- now go to Settings menu/Configure KOrganizer...
- Click on the 'General' icon
- Go to the 'Save' tab
- Check the 'Enable automatic saving of maunally opened calendar files' check box
- Set the 'Save interval in minutes:' to 1 minutes.
- click on 'Ok'

Nothing happens whereas there should be a progress bar appearing in the status bar after 1 minutes, showing that the file is being automatically saved I am guessing.

So atm it is impossible to be sure that the file is automatically saved on the hard disk.

Korganizer no longer has "Automatic Saves" feature due to akonadi's nature. Everything is saved as you change.

I see. Thx for the tip, Sergio ;o)

I'll close this bug then since it does not make sense.
