*** Bug 235003 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I tracked it down. The problem has to do with the chat function in iGoogle. Adding chat to iGoogle causes the spike; removing it reduces CPU usage. The question now is whether the problem can be fixed. (I apologize for the double post. 235003 is a duplicate. Not sure what happened.) I can confirm this issue, but as it happens in arora too, I highly suspect it to be a QtWebKit issue. I'll report it at their bugtracker |
