I often experience on network-drives with large folders that Dolphin says "0 items" or something like that in the statusbar for several seconds.

There should be some indication that dolphin is not finished loading the folder, so you don't think the folder is empty and move on.

I experience that a folder looks empty when there are very many elements in it. After 5-10 seconds when the folder "has loaded"(?) the items appear.
If I didn't know that the folder contained so many items I would just have moved on.

SVN commit 1205345 by ppenz:

Show an undetermined progress indication within one second after changing an URL.

Update to SVN commit 1205329:
- Fix issue that an undetermined progress is shown when switching between columns of the column-view.
- Fix issue that no undetermined progress is shown when editing the URL directly in the URL navigator
